What is Moocon Vaults?

A prize savings protocol on Solana. You deposit, receive pTokens, and the yield every deposit generates is pooled and paid to draw winners instead of dripping back to everyone. How It Works covers the full lifecycle.

Is this a lottery?

No. Lottery tickets are purchases, and the players fund the prizes. On Moocon your deposit stays yours and only the pooled yield funds prizes. The category is prize-linked savings. Why Stake With Us explains who it is for.

Where does prize money come from?

Yield from lending your deposit on Jupiter Lend. Never from deposits. How It Works has the model.

Is Moocon custodial?

No. Moocon is non-custodial. Deposits are held by on-chain vault contracts, not by Moocon, and your position is pTokens in your own wallet. Only you can redeem them.

Can I lose my deposit?

Your deposit is never spent on prizes, and your pTokens redeem it. Redeemable is not risk-free, though: the lending market, the smart contracts, and available liquidity all matter, and if the vault ever falls short of its claims, redemption pays a proportional share. Risks has the details.

Where is Moocon available?

Not in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, sanctioned countries, or a few other regions, and it is not intended for use from them. The full list is on Restrictions.

How do I start?

Connect a wallet, pick a vault, deposit. Getting Started walks through it.

Is there a lockup or minimum?

No lockup and no protocol fee in either direction. Withdraw any time from the vault panel. There is no minimum deposit, but a position averaging under $1 over a window earns no tickets for it.

What are pTokens?

Position tokens for a vault. Minted when you deposit, burned when you withdraw, and ordinary SPL tokens, so they sit in your wallet.

What happens if I withdraw before a draw?

You burn pTokens and get the underlying token back. You keep credit for the part of the window you held and earn nothing for the rest. Yield already in a tier stays there for that tier's winner.

What tokens are supported?

JupUSD and SOL today. The app lists live vaults and what each accepts. Only deposit an asset into the vault that lists it.

What do I need in my wallet?

SOL for fees, plus the asset the vault accepts. The SOL vault wraps native SOL and uses the same lamports for fees and rent, so keep at least 0.02 SOL back.

Odds and payouts

How are my chances determined?

$1 held for a whole round is 1 ticket. Tickets are the average USD value of your position over the window, so $100 held all round is 100 tickets and the same $100 deposited halfway through is 50. Your odds are your tickets over everyone's. How It Works has the math.

How often do draws happen?

Each vault runs two tiers. On mainnet today Bull Sprint settles every 1 hour with 70% of the yield, and Golden Horn every 7 days with 30%. Each vault card shows the live cadence and countdown.

Why do I have fewer tickets in the long tier?

Golden Horn averages your position across every round since it last paid, so a deposit that has only covered part of that window weighs less in it. Bull Sprint averages over the current round alone.

How do I know the draw is fair?

Every eligible wallet and its ticket weight is sealed into a Merkle tree and committed on-chain before the draw, together with the hash of an operator secret. Randomness comes from MagicBlock VRF and is combined with the revealed secret, so neither side can pick the winner. Anyone can verify inclusion, weight, and the winner from the round data.
