Referral Program
Create a referral code, use one, and the rules that apply.
How it works
The referral program links one new wallet to one referrer wallet. The link is recorded once and is permanent for that wallet.
Creating your code
- Open the referral panel on the dashboard.
- Enter the code you want. Codes are 1 to 10 letters or digits, and each one is unique across the protocol.
- Sign the message with your wallet.
Your code is registered and ready to share, as a link or straight from the referral card in the app.
Using a Ledger, tick Using Ledger first. Ledger cannot sign a plain message, so the app sends the same text as a memo transaction you sign instead.
Using a code
- Open the referral panel. A code arriving from a referral link is filled in for you.
- Enter or confirm the code.
- Sign the verification message with your wallet.
The link between your wallet and the referrer is recorded.
Rules
- One code per wallet, both to create and to use. Both are one-time actions.
- You cannot use your own code.
- Using a code gives you no immediate bonus. It credits the referrer for your activity.
- Referral rewards accrue from what the wallets you referred actually do in the protocol, not from handing out the code.
- The app is the source of truth for your code, your referrer, and the wallets you referred.
Common cases
I used the wrong code
The link is permanent for that wallet. A different referral relationship needs a different wallet.
I shared my code but see nothing
The referred wallet has to actually use the code and then deposit and stay active. Sharing alone does nothing.
My code was rejected
Either it is already taken or it is outside the allowed format. Try another 1 to 10 character code using only letters and digits.
